Mission Statement

Blackhorsenursery is a grower of trees, shrubs, herbs, flowers and other nursery-related items.  We also manufacture seasonings and sauces, selling our products to both the wholesale and retail markets.

Our Story

Located in the beautiful San Jacinto mountains of Southern California in the high desert community of Mountain Center, at an elevation of 4,500 feet.

Starting in 1984 ground was broken for the Blackhorsenursery with the creation of our greenhouse.  Additionally, we planted large gardens where we planted flowers, herbs, shrubs and other plants.  We adapted our growing practices to the 4-season climate and environment by supporting the growth of drought-tolerant species.

In addition to herbs and other plants we continue to grow, we have expanded our sales line to include seasonings and sauces.
